Free while we're getting started

Tuppin is free for the first 50 accounts. No card, no trial countdown, no feature locked behind a paywall.

We haven't set our prices yet. When we do, we'll publish them here and tell you at least 30 days before anything changes for you. You will never be charged automatically.

What you get

Everything. There are no tiers, and nothing is held back for a paid plan that doesn't exist yet.

• Record income and expenses across more than one sole trade and a UK property business
• Categorise transactions, apply private-use adjustments, handle foreign currency
• Recurring entries for the things that repeat every month
• Running summaries of where your figures stand
• Export everything to CSV whenever you want

One honest limitation: Tuppin is not yet recognised by HMRC for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, so it cannot submit to HMRC. You keep your records here and file through other means for now. We'll say so on this page the moment that changes.

When pricing starts

Here's exactly what will happen, so there are no surprises:

1. We publish the prices on this page.
2. We email you at least 30 days before they would apply to you.
3. You decide. Take a subscription, or export your records and close your account — no charge either way.

We will not take a payment from you without you choosing a plan first. There is no card on file to charge.

This isn't only a promise on a web page: it's clause 5 of our Terms of Service.

Questions

Is this a free trial that expires?
No. There's no countdown and no card on file. Free means free until we tell you otherwise, with 30 days' notice.

What happens to my data if I don't want to pay later?
You export it to CSV and close your account. We keep your records for 30 days after closing in case you need them, then delete them.

Is VAT added?
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. If that changes we'll tell you 30 days beforehand.

Why only 50 accounts?
Because one person supports them. Fifty is roughly what we can look after properly while the product is still young.

Will early users get a discount later?
Yes. Early users will get a discount once pricing starts. We'll tell you exactly how much when we publish our prices, in the same email that gives you at least 30 days' notice.

Am I locked in?
No. Your records are yours, the export is free and always available, and CSV opens in Excel or goes straight to an accountant.
