About these rates

  • They are HMRC’s monthly exchange rates, published on HMRC’s Trade Tariff service on the penultimate Thursday of each month, for the following calendar month.
  • HMRC doesn’t insist on them. Its manual says traders may also use London closing rates or a rate quoted by their bank.
  • Which date a conversion belongs to, and what to do when your bank converts the money for you: read the guide to HMRC exchange rates

A calculation, not advice. Rates from HMRC’s Trade Tariff service, loaded as HMRC publishes them. Nothing you type here is stored.
